With a 254 mm diameter, it allows for observation beyond the solar system, providing views of globular clusters, nebulae, and galaxies. Even smaller details become visible in deep-sky objects, revealing individual stars in globular clusters and showing significant structure in nebulae.

The telescope’s versatility stands out in its price range, featuring a large Hexafoc focuser with a 65 mm opening that eliminates vignetting when using wide-field eyepieces. The elevation wheels provide the right balance and stability, even with heavier eyepieces or accessories attached. The telescope tube can be easily adjusted within the tube rings to achieve balance when additional accessories are used. The focuser’s rigidity ensures easy focusing and allows for astrophotography by removing the extension tube and attaching a camera for prime focus.

Unlike other Dobsonian telescopes, this model offers the flexibility of mounting it on an equatorial mount with a standard dovetail rail for more expansive astrophotography possibilities. Additionally, a dual-speed 10:1 gear reduction for the focuser is available for fine control of focus.
